Lenovo, the renowned Chinese corporation, has collaborated with the leading chip maker Intel Corporation. The corporations have come together to develop a new smartphone on the Intel Platform. The launch took place at the 2012 Intel Developer Forum (IDF) held in Beijing from April 11-12, 2012.

The smartphone has been christened as LePhone K800 and this ultimate power machine is ignited by the “Medfield” processor that is loaded with 32 nanometer technology.

Lenovo, the Chinese computer manufacturer, today introduced three new ThinkStation workstations, namely S30, C30, and D30. The new workstations have been designed to give a quiet yet powerful performance and can help you improve your work productivity. Featuring the latest technology and Intel Xeon E5 processors, these Lenovo ThinkStation models will cater to the heavy computing needs of professionals.

Boasting of an innovative design and ENERGY STAR 5.2 certification, Lenovo ThinkStation S30, C30, and D30 models can also help you save a few bucks with 90 percent power efficiency. Lenovo has launched a new app shop for its large business customers. The Lenovo Enterprise App Shop provides mobile services to companies, which will help them to customize and purchase licensed apps for their Lenovo and Android tablets.

“We created an app shop designed specifically for the enterprise featuring LDAP integration and cross Android platform support to facilitate IT management while giving users the apps they’re demanding to boost productivity,” said Mark Cohen, vice president of ecosystem and monetization, Lenovo.

All the apps provided by Lenovo Enterprise App Shop are malware free and promises high performance on Lenovo devices. Users can also save money as the app shop provides volume pricing discount on different kinds of apps. The MobiHand Universal Android Catalog feature allows users to access thousands of apps while the AppShop Manager section gives users the permission to select and de-select apps. The Lenovo AppShop Client on the other hand authenticates users through their e-mail address and then supplies them with approved and secured apps for purchase or free download.

Lenovo has announced the launch of its own Android app store called the Lenovo Enterprise App Shop. As the name indicates, the service will be targeting the company’s business customers by providing custom management, deployment and publication of mobile applications. Apps can also be purchased through volume pricing.

With the launch of this app shop, corporate users will gain access to and use productivity apps on their Lenovo tablet or other Android-based tablet running Android 3.1 or higher. “With the influx of personal and mobile devices in the workplace, it’s critical for companies to manage the proprietary and third-party applications their employees are using,” said Mark Cohen, vice president, Ecosystem and Monetization, Lenovo.
