Hi
Is there any way of restoring my thinkpad L412 to factory settings without the recovery disc?
This was a work laptop and I don’t have access to the original discs.
Thanks

It is possible only if a recovery partition was pre-installed when the laptop was bought (the system recovery wizard would be available in Start> All Programs). If not, you can contact Lenovo and get them to ship the System Recovery disk over.
You can refer to http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-4HWSE3 for the Lenovo support contact number.
