The external monitor is enabled by default and the Lenovo ThinkPad LCD is disabled.
Adjust the resolution
An external monitor can support higher resolutions. Thus, after connecting the external monitor to your laptop, you are required to adjust the resolution of your system otherwise; you won’t be able to get a good display on your external monitor. In order to adjust the resolution, you are required to open the Lenovo ThinkPad Configuration Program. You are then required to select ‘External Display’ from the option ‘Display’.
